Hazrat Jabir bin `Abdullah (RA) reported that he heard the Prophet ﷺ saying: “If a person mentions the Name of Allah upon entering his house and when eating his food, Satan says (to his followers): ‘You have no place to spend the night and no food.’ But if he enters without mentioning the Name of Allah, Satan says: ‘You have found a place to spend the night.
Pronunciation: Allāhumma innī as’aluka khayra l-mawliji wa-khayra l-makhraj, bismillāhi walajnā, wa-bismillāhi kharajnā, wa-ʿalallāhi Rabbinā tawakkalnā
Translation: O Allah, I ask You for the best entering and the best exiting. In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and upon Allah, our Lord, we place our trust.
